Although we had some packaging delays, we were so happy to finally send these beautiful and amazing pins off to their new homes!
We originally planned to package and mail these by June 12, however, Thea’s little brother had a tooth issue come up, his 13th birthday was this month as well, and Thea was struggling with her health issues (as was I).
There are many stages to our packaging process! We love putting together our little envelopes with stickers we’ve made to go with the orders. We also added a new aspect to her orders this month…Authentication cards! As with our stamp on the envelopes, we have to leave drying time for the ink on the cards…
Thea always makes such adorable stickers and we have our Cricut to cut them out on. The sticker paper we use for our orders is Matte Premium Vinyl. As always, our sweet and adorable TheaArtsz Mascot Maisie was on hand for product control…
Our next step is to put the items with backing cards and into mesh bags…
This order is the first we have included Super Mini Comics to introduce the characters for Thea’s upcoming (potential release of Fall 2024) graphic novel/comic series Stars Align!!!
The Super Mini Comic has a cover and three pages of story (full middle and back cover). Our tentative plan is to add a new one with each pre-sale order from now until December (time permitting to make them).
We have requested no one share the story itself on Social Media/online.
Once the comics were printed, cut, folded and put in envelopes it was time to bring the items we sold together with the envelopes (both sticker and comic) to package into the bubble mailers!
Final step was to create all the labels on Canada Post website, print, cut and affix to the mailers!
The box was quite large and heavy to carry into the post office (I was going out to take Thea’s brother to have his tooth extracted Monday so I dropped them off instead of having them picked up).
We hope all packages arrive safe, sound and soon to their new homes!
