Three Strike Rule with invoices…

We are aware it is a little different how we do our sales. We have chosen this way to help costs stay lower for our customers, and to try to avoid potential hacking (we were looking at doing e-commerce through this website).

Selling through the website with PayPal invoicing was the cheapest way we found to do sales. Every platform that has sales through “stores” was costly and honestly more headache than they were worth. This way was easy and straightforward for me personally (Thea’s mother) to deal with (given the disabilities I have).

We understand this puts an extra step in the purchasing process for everyone, and we apologize for that.

We are now in our second year of sales using invoicing through PayPal. In that time there has been at least 90 invoices cancelled. I understand, in the grand scheme of things, that may not be a whole lot, but it is still flustering taking the time to create an invoice to be ignored/not be paid.

There have been a few people who have come to us to let it be known they are not able to pay. I appreciate that because it is being honest and respectful to me. Unfortunately most have just not paid. Some I have left open for a couple weeks, sending reminders, etc, with no response! This is overwhelming and leaves me feeling ignored and disrespected.

This is why the 24 hour rule was implemented for payment before cancellation. There have been times I have reissued invoices and they have still not paid , which is why the no reissuing of an invoice will happen for the same sale!

We have also requested people to email us for quotes if they want to know what something will cost them (especially with shipping) to avoid putting an order in, to have me make the invoice and then see the cost and change their mind. I have tried to be thorough on the website to help in knowing possible costs as best I can.

With this all said…we will now be implementing a three strike policy for cancelled invoices. If we have to cancel three invoices (if you come to me regarding the cancellation that will be a different situation) we will no longer be creating invoices for you going forth!

Thank you for the understanding in this matter!
